Ahead of a match between IPL teams Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants, a video of Virat Kohli and new dad Zaheer Khan went viral. On Sunday, the official Instagram page of Lucknow Super Giants shared a video of former cricketer Zaheer Khan showing the pictures of his newborn son to Virat Kohli.
In the video, the two could be seen greeting each other with a hug and huge smile when Zaheer Khan took his phone and showed it to Virat Kohli. He said, “Yeh dekh Mr Fatehsinh.” Looking at the picture, Virat Kohli asked, “How is it going?” He then quickly asked, “Kispe gaya hai?” Giving a deep thought, Virat Kohli guesses even before Zaheer’s reply and says, “Mix?” He then adds, “Eyes are just like you!” This makes Zaheer smile while the two continue to talk.
Sharing the video, Lucknow Super Giants wrote the caption, “Simply ‘Aww’.”
The video attracted a lot of attention from fans who flooded the video with comments. A user wrote, “Zaheer like that cute uncle who shows his child to others.” Another user wrote, “My whole heart”. Other cricket fans expressed their excitement about their upcoming match on May 27. Other comments read, “Just looking like a wow”, “My Favourite Bowler And My Favourite Batsmen In One Frame” , and “Two Legends in one Frame.”
Zaheer Khan, who is currently appointed as Lucknow Super Giants mentor, welcomed a baby boy with his wife and actress Sagarika Ghatge on April 16.
The couple took to their Instagram handles to share the news. Sharing two pictures of their family, the couple wrote, “With love, gratitude, and divine blessings, we welcome our precious little boy, Fatehsinh Khan.”
Zaheer Khan married Sagarika Ghatge in a private ceremony in November 2017.
