A village cricket match in India was interrupted after an angry bull invaded the pitch, causing panic among players. A video of the same incident has gone viral on social media. In the viral video, the bull charged across the outfield, before cantering onto the pitch. Despite not panicking initially, the players eventually decided to run away for the scene with the bull making zig-zag movement on the pitch. The umpire too was stunned as he turned backwards and ran as fast as he could to escape the scene. As the bull left the pitch after chasing the players and the umpire, the two batters returned to scene and were seen having a laugh about the whole episode. Congress leader Sunil Kedar booked for disrupting traffic in Nagpur

The Nagpur Police in Maharashtra have registered a case against disqualified Congress MLA Sunil Kedar for taking out a huge procession and disrupting traffic after his release from jail, an official said on Thursday, reported the PTI. According to the PTI, Sunil Kedar, the five-term MLA from Saoner in Maharashtra`s Nagpur district, was sentenced to five years in jail on December 22, 2023, by a magistrate`s court in a case related to irregularities at the Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank (NDCCB) of which he was chairman from 1999 to 2002, as per the PTI. The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court had on Tuesday granted him bail and also suspended his sentence temporarily. Kedar was released from the Nagpur Central Jail around 11 am on Wednesday, the PTI reported. According to the official, thousands of supporters of Kedar had assembled outside the jail to welcome the Congress leader. 15 Opposition MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha for disrupting House proceedings (File) New Delhi: Fifteen Opposition MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha today for disrupting House proceedings, a day after a major security breach in parliament last afternoon. The suspension came after the MPs were named by the Speaker. Of the 15 suspended MPs, nine are from the Congress, two from the CPM, one from the CPI, and two from the DMK.
