Sharad Pawar: Rural students now discussing AI and how to use it effectively
Students from villages are now discussing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it can be used effectively, NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar said on Saturday. The former Union minister was addressing a gathering at the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha`s headquarters here on the death anniversary of its founder Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. “The world has accepted Artificial Intelligence, and Rayat Shikshan Sanstha cannot afford to remain behind. Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is embracing new technology and building ties with leading global universities to benefit students from rural areas,” he said. Efforts are underway to establish partnerships with reputed institutions such as Boston University and the University of Oxford, which would help create new opportunities for students and strengthen Rayat Shikshan Sanstha`s academic standards, he added. The institution is carrying forward Patil`s vision of opening the doors of education to children from the most underprivileged sections of society, he said, adding it had now expanded to 742 branches, with around 4.18 lakh students and 11,633 teachers.
