As per the weather forecast agency IMD, these conditions are likely to persist until June 4, helping keep temperatures under control. IMD issues yellow alert across Delhi and NCR For Tuesday, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for the national capital, warning of possible thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light rainfall, and strong winds, particularly during the night. Wind speeds may reach 40-50 kmph in some areas. The department, however, has not issued any colour-coded warnings for Wednesday and Thursday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi for the next three days, warning of intense heatwave conditions as temperatures in the national capital are expected to rise sharply again.
