Indian men’s curling team reaches World Championships Qualifiers for first time
After four days of competition, Mexico and India’s men’s teams won the final qualification games at the inaugural World Championship Pre-Qualifier (Pan Continental) 2026 in Dumfries, Scotland. India came from a 0-3 deficit to defeat Jamaica 9-7 in the qualification game to earn a promotion for the inaugural World Championship Qualifier for the 2026-27 season. Six teams took part in the event: Mexico, India, Jamaica, Chinese Taipei and Saudi Arabia. Due to a late withdrawal, Kenya were ruled as Did Not Start (DNS) and therefore forfeited their games.
