The makers of actor Vijay’s last film, before he begins his active political journey, kicked off the movie, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, with a traditional muhurat puja on Friday. The grand event also saw other cast and crew in attendance, including Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde. Backed by KVN Productions and directed by H Vinoth, the film will go on floors on Saturday. The makers had earlier dropped the announcement poster of the movie, which billed Vijay as “the torchbearer of democracy“. The official X handle of the production house shared pictures from the puja ceremony, with happy faces of the cast and crew as they all assembled for Vijay’s final film.
