Sham Kaushal Thanks Fans As Son Vicky’s Chhaava Roars At The Box Office With Rs 31 Crore Debut

Chhaava—Vicky Kaushal’s period action drama—has taken the box office by storm, receiving immense love from fans and critics alike. According to sacnilk.com, the film raked in a staggering Rs 31 crore nett in India on its opening day, marking the biggest first-day collection of Vicky’s career.

Celebrating this milestone, Vicky’s father and renowned action director, Sham Kaushal, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to fans for making Chhaava a “blockbuster.” He shared a special collage video from the film’s screening, featuring a star-studded guest list, including Vicky, Katrina Kaif, Sunny Kaushal, Sharvari, Dinesh Vijan, Ashutosh Rana, Anand Tiwari, Laxman Utekar, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Diana Penty.

The clip, set to the electrifying track Aaya Re Toofan from the film, was posted on Sham Kaushal’s Instagram. Alongside the video, he wrote, “God is kind. Thanks for giving so much love to Chhaava and making it a blockbuster. Gratitude. Rab Rakha.”

Fans flooded the comments section with excitement. One user wrote, “He (Vicky) deserves it,” while another cheered, “Vicky rocks.” A third simply called the film “Good movie.”

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Katrina also praised the film and her husband’s performance. Taking to Instagram, she dropped a poster of the film and wrote, “What a cinematic experience and what a monumentus task to bring to life the glory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, @laxman.utekar tells this incredible story in the most brilliant way, I’m in awe, the last 40 min of the film will leave you speechless. I’ve spent all morning wanting to go and rewatch it again. I’m lost for words at the impact of this film.”

“@vickykaushal09 you truly are outstanding, every time you come on screen, every shot, the intensity you bring on screen, you are a chameleon the way you transform to your characters, effortless and fluid, I’m so proud of you and your talent.,” she added.

Apart from this, Vicky will also be seen in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as well as in Maddock Films’ Mahavatar.
