Jacqueline Fernandez may feature in a new docu-series on Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s Rs 200 crore scandal.
Jacqueline Fernandez has reportedly been approached to share her firsthand account in an upcoming docu-series based on conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s controversial Rs 200 crore extortion case.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s alleged relationship with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar made headlines in 2021, and now it seems the story is heading to the streaming world. A major OTT platform is reportedly developing a gripping docu-series chronicling Sukesh’s life, including the infamous Rs 200 crore extortion scandal — and Jacqueline has been approached to share her side of the story.
According to a report by Mid-Day, the streaming giant plans to deep dive into Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s controversial journey — from his early lottery scams to the high-profile luxury gift racket that caught the nation’s attention. Sources close to the project reveal that Jacqueline, who found herself entangled in the case, is being considered a key voice for the documentary.
“She is the only star who can provide a firsthand account of what really happened. Her candor could make or break the storytelling,” a source was quoted as saying. However, the Housefull 5 actress is said to be treading carefully. While the offer is tempting, Jacqueline is reportedly weighing the risks, as close friends have advised her to be cautious about how her narrative will be framed.
Meanwhile, a research team has already begun crafting the narrative framework, reportedly blending psychological thriller elements with a detailed societal case study. “The idea is to juxtapose Sukesh’s legal battles with the alleged intricate methods he used, including wiretapping, high-profile bribes, and secret real estate deals,” the insider added.
The docu-series is currently in the early stages of development. The writers’ room is expected to lock the structure by the end of this year, with filming slated to commence by mid-2026. Legal teams are heavily involved, ensuring that all necessary clearances and factual accuracy are maintained.
Adding to the real-life drama, Sukesh Chandrashekhar recently made headlines once again by penning a heartfelt letter to Jacqueline following the passing of her mother, Kim, on April 6. Sukesh expressed deep sorrow in the letter, revealing that he had dedicated a garden in Bali filled with Kim’s favorite flowers as a tribute. He also arranged a special mass at the Vatican in her memory, assuring Jacqueline that Kim’s spirit would forever remain a ‘guardian angel’ for them.
If Jacqueline agrees to be part of the upcoming series, it could mark a significant moment — offering an unprecedented glimpse into one of Bollywood’s most controversial and closely-followed sagas.
