Shiv Thakare wins The 50, emerging victorious among the top contestants after a thrilling finale, beating strong contenders in a time-based challenge.

The 50’s finale will air on March 22.
The 50 is keeping the audience hooked, and while the winner of the reality show will be announced on March 22, it was reported that the finale of the show was shot yesterday, on February 19. Earlier reports stated that the makers had not announced the winner but had shot the winning moment with all the finalists, yet it looks like this stunt, too, couldn’t gatekeep the winner’s name from coming out.
As per multiple sources and a report by Times of India, it has been reported that amongst the Top 4, Mr Faisu, Immortal Kaka, Krishna Shroff, and Shiv Thakare, competing for the trophy, it was the Roadies and Bigg Boss Marathi fame Shiv who lifted the title of The 50.
As per the report, a source shared that the finale task was time-based, and every contestant had to solve a puzzle. Kaka failed to finish the task. Next was Krishna Shroff, who took 25 minutes to finish the task. Meanwhile, Shiv managed to complete it in 10 minutes. Last was Faizu, who solved the puzzle fastest, only to realize that he had done something wrong, and in correcting and finishing his task, he took a total of 14 minutes. Hence, based on timing, Shiv Thakare emerged as the winner of the show.
Prince Narula Sacrifices Ticket to Finale for Shiv
News has it that Prince Narula had sacrificed his position for Shiv. As per Film Window’s report, Prince was the one who found the ticket to the finale, but he gave his ticket to Shiv, saying, “He’s my brother, and I want him to go to the finale.” The original Top 4 contestants of The 50 were Prince, Rajat, Kaka, and Mr. Faisu, but after the Roadies gang leader gave up his position, the final Top 4 finalists were Shiv, Rajat, Kaka, and Mr. Faisu.
About The 50
Unlike Bigg Boss, The 50 does not stream live. Though it is a digital-first property, episodes are telecast on a deferred basis. Contestants entered the house on January 27, with filming planned over 26 days. It was earlier revealed that the format was designed to unfold within this tight schedule, ensuring a fast-paced narrative that keeps viewers engaged.
The show streams daily on JioHotstar at 9 pm and is also broadcast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. While its digital performance has been strong, television ratings have struggled to match the buzz online. Still, the combination of celebrity contestants, unpredictable gameplay, and a substantial prize pot of ₹50 lakhs for fans has kept audiences invested.
