Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared a light-hearted, joyful BTS clip from the sets of Maa Inti Bangaram. The video was filmed on the occasion of Holi and mixes festival cheer with film promotion energy. The cast and crew were seen having fun during the celebrations.

Samantha enjoys gulal

The video shows a playful Samantha holding a pichkari (water gun) and enjoying the festival with gulal. She is seen playfully using a toy gun, throwing colours at others, dancing, and spreading festive vibes amid the shooting of the film Maa Inti Bangaram. The caption reads, “Dishkiyaoon, Happy Holi Bangaaralu. From the sets of #MaaIntiBangaaram,” where “Dishkiyaoon” refers to playful finger-gun gestures. It also mirrors the film’s dramatic and action-driven plot. In the video, Sam’s husband Raj Nidimoru is also seen on the sets having a ball along with director Nandini Reddy. Together, the film’s crew showcased the colourful spirit of the festival.

Dutiful daughter-in-law on a secret mission

Maa Inti Bangaram is directed by BV Nandini Reddy. It went on the floors in October 2025. “Started our journey with the Muhurtham of #MaaIntiBangaram, surrounded by love and blessings. We can’t wait to share with you what we are creating. Need all your love and support as we begin this special film,” the actress wrote on Instagram at that time.

The film’s teaser, released in January, hinted at Samantha playing the role of a dutiful daughter-in-law who is also on a secret mission. The video featured her as a newlywed wife hiding something important from everyone, including her husband. Maa Inti Bangaram marks the third collaboration between Samantha and Nandini Reddy after Jabardasth (2013) and Oh Baby! (2019). Santosh Narayanan is providing the music. Created by Samantha’s husband Raj Nidimoru, the film will hit the screens on May 15. The Raj–Samantha duo previously worked on The Family Man (Season 2) and Citadel: Honey Bunny. Samantha also made her debut as a producer with last year’s horror-comedy Subham.
