Is Cocktail 2 cringe content? Absolutely. Also, no, because it looks so good — by which I mean, stunning top-shots, pristine outdoors, and designer clothes.
Shorn of sufficient budgets, that can be said for all scripts, potentially third-rate, in their genre. This could well have been a badly lit, B-grade porn on its own.
