After debuting in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R Madhavan, Dia Mirza signed her second film with superstar Salman Khan in 2002. CBSE rejects OSM breach claims. But did 19-year-old Nisarga Adhikary really hack marking portal?

While still in the midst of fury from students on the On Screen Marking (OSM) system for Class 12 board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) found itself at the centre of another controversy recently, with a teen claiming to have “hacked” its portal. According to his blog, the deeper he investigated the system, the more serious the alleged problems appeared. (AI-generated Image) A 19-year-old “hobbyist cybersecurity researcher” Nisarga Adhikary is behind the big claims, following which the CBSE also released a clarification on Tuesday, rejecting claims that its marking platform had been compromised. A senior official from the ministry of electronics and information technology (IT) of India told Hindustan Times that CERT-In (the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) is looking into the matter and raised it with CBSE, while also suggesting measures to fix the issues, which they later undertook to complete. The response was to queries about the action taken following Nisarga’s disclosure to CERT-In about alleged loopholes in February. Notably, CBSE had introduced the OSM system for the assessment of …

Kartik Sharma: the 19-year-old from Bharatpur who is keeping Dhoni on the bench | Cricket News

Kartik Sharma: the 19-year-old from Bharatpur who is keeping Dhoni on the bench | Cricket News

MS Dhoni has a calf injury. He has not rushed back. Partly because Chennai Super Kings are managing him carefully at 44. But partly, those inside the dressing room say, because Kartik Sharma has made it complicated. It was not long ago that Stephen Fleming was sceptical about young blood. As CSK fell behind other teams in batting approach last season, Fleming held his ground — sample size too small, he said. Weeks later he had changed his mind. Beyond Abhishek Sharma, Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, there were more. Kartik was among them — spotted mid-season by CSK’s scouting team, added to their pool as a development player, ineligible for the auction but too good to ignore. A year on, he is making that scouting look shrewd. Kartik is 19, from Bharatpur, and not the biggest or burliest of batters. What he has is one specific thing, and he has built his life around it. At the Aravali Cricket Academy in Hathod on the outskirts of Jaipur — where he trained under the late …

The petition, filed by Akshambari Sharma, a first-year BA-LLB (Hons.) student, contends that the university’s decision to bar her from appearing in the examinations scheduled from May 5, is arbitrary and violative of her fundamental rights. As per the petition, the student had secured a CGPA of 7.80 in her first semester examinations held in December 2025. However, on January 31, 2026, she suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in her left foot, following which she was advised bed rest from February 1 to March 20. She claimed she has medical records to back her claims. Despite her injury, the petitioner attended college in a wheelchair to participate in mid-term exams, quizzes and group discussions. The plea states that in March, the …

They helped her in small ways and big to become the first Indian woman in 15 years to get a direct shot at being the queen of 64 squares. This isn’t her team of seconds that helped her with matters on the board — their names she would keep close to her chest until the World Championship contest against Ju Wenjun is over. One of the stalwarts who helped Vaishali win the Candidates is five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand, who selected Vaishali as part of the first cohort of players at his Westbridge Anand Chess Academy and has since been a mentor to her. It was Anand who urged her to work with Sandipan Chanda, another grandmaster. Their partnership was in place until before the Candidates. Then there was RB Ramesh, the grandmaster who wields …
