On January 29 at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE made their highly-anticipated return with their second full-length album “2” and its title track “Super Lady.” According to Hanteo Chart, “2” sold an impressive total of 862,992 copies on its first day of sales alone, easily breaking (G)I-DLE’s previous first-day sales record of 689,502 (set by their 2023 mini album “I feel”). (G)I-DLE has now become the girl group with the fifth-highest first-day sales in Hanteo history, bested only by aespa, NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, and BLACKPINK.
