35-year-old arrested for kidnapping, assaulting teen in Delhi
A 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in central Delhi, police said on Tuesday, PTI reported. Accused lured victim near metro station Acting on a complaint, police launched an investigation and said the incident occurred on April 4, when the accused, Mohan Jaiswal, approached the teenager on a black Bullet motorcycle near Jahangirpuri Metro Station. He then took her to a hotel in Murthal, where they had a meal. CCTV trail helped track movements Police scanned CCTV footage from multiple locations, tracking the accused’s movement from Jahangirpuri to Murthal and back. The footage showed him taking the victim to a second hotel near Jahangirpuri after she complained of feeling drowsy, police said.
