Dara Singh is a name that Indians, particularly athletics fans, will never forget. Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers the country has ever seen, Singh was also closely associated with the world of cinema. Besides appearing in over 175 movies, he founded the Dara Film Studio in Mohali, Punjab, in 1980. He also helmed a handful of films, leaving his signature behind the camera as well.
