She was a star in the ’90s with hits like Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Roja (1992), and Diljale (1996), before quitting the industry over the lack of fulfilling roles. Mumbai, Actor Madhoo, known for her roles in “Roja” and “Phool Aur Kaante”, says she is happy to have returned to the film industry at a time when crucial issues like pay parity and women’s safety are gaining widespread attention.
