The India AI Impact Summit 2026 was held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. (PTI) More than 80 countries signed the AI Impact Summit Declaration in New Delhi on Saturday, which called for “advancing secure, trustworthy and robust AI”, deeming it foundational to build trust and maximise societal and economic benefits. The Delhi Declaration underscored that the wide-scale adoption of AI and AI-based applications holds unprecedented potential to drive economic and social development. “Open-source AI applications and other accessible AI approaches, where appropriate, and wide-scale diffusion of AI use cases can contribute to scalability, replicability, and adaptability of AI systems across sectors,” it read.
