According to the details, the probe agency was conducting searches on the premises of the trustees and other persons related to the University. The raids began at nearly 5 am today. A video shared by news agency ANI showed that raids were underway at the Okhla (Delhi) office of Al-Falah University. Several suspects linked to the November 10 car blast near the Red Fort in Delhi are believed to have had associations with the University, prompting investigators to examine institutional records, financial transactions and administrative approvals. A medical college professor and a medical student, both from Jammu and Kashmir, were detained in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, in connection with the car blast near Red Fort. Delhi blast: AIU suspends Al-Falah University`s membership

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has suspended the membership of Al-Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana, with immediate effect on Thursday.   The action, taken via an official letter dated November 13, 2025, follows the institution`s intense scrutiny amid the terror probe into the deadly Red Fort car blast in Delhi on November 10. Citing its bylaws, the AIU stated that the decision was based on “media reports,” indicating that the university “does not appear to be in good standing”. The university was thrust into the national spotlight after it was revealed that Dr. Umar Un Nabi, the primary suspect in the November 10 blast, was associated with this college along with other accused Dr Muzammil Ganaie, and Dr Shaheen Sayeed. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a show-cause notice to Al-Falah University, reportedly at present under scrutiny in connection with the Delhi Red Fort blast investigation, for allegedly displaying false accreditation information on its official website, officials said on Thursday, reported the PTI. According to the notice, the NAAC observed that Al-Falah University — “which is neither accredited by nor has applied for accreditation with NAAC” — had publicly claimed on its website that it is “an endeavour of Al-Falah Charitable Trust, which has been running three colleges on the campus, namely Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology (since 1997, Graded A by NAAC), Brown Hill College of Engineering and Technology (since 2008), and Al-Falah School of Education and Training (since 2006, Graded A by NAAC),” as per the PTI. “This is completely incorrect and misleads the public, particularly parents, students, and other stakeholders,” the NAAC said in the notice. Faridabad: The Jammu & Kashmir Police team and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) visited Al-Falah Medical College in Haryana’s Faridabad on Wednesday in search of another doctor in connection with Monday’s explosion in a white Hyundai i20 car in the heart of old Delhi, which killed at least 10 people and injured a dozen. Police officers associated with the case said a team from the NIA visited the campus earlier in the day to collect evidence and question medical staff. The visit comes amid growing scrutiny of the institution after three doctors linked to the college were arrested for their alleged role in the Red Fort blast and the recovery of 2,900 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from rented accommodations in Dhauj and Fatehpur Taga villages.
