Alia Bhatt’s Alpha isn’t just Yash Raj Films‘ ambitious attempt to bring a female “lean, mean killing machine” to Hindi cinema — it’s also meant to fulfil fans’ long-standing wish to see a woman headline a full-fledged action spectacle.
