As the buzz around Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s spy thriller Alpha continues to build, the film has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film has been granted the U/A certificate ahead of its July 3 release date. Alpha was granted the certificate only after the makers made certain changes to the film. CBFC changes in Apha The CBFC’s Examining Committee reportedly asked for very few modifications to the film. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the makers were asked to redraft the disclaimer at the beginning of the film. Additionally, Subtitles were inserted for all the songs. The report also claimed that the producers, Yash Raj Films (YRF), were asked to mention the opening cards and end scrolls in the applied language, in this case, Hindi.
