Malkajgiri police are increasingly relying on technology-driven investigations to solve complex crimes in shorter timeframes. | Photo Credit: By Arrangement From Subscriber Detail Records (SDR), digital payment trails to CCTV mapping and real-time interstate coordination, Hyderabad police are increasingly relying on technology-driven investigation methods to track suspects and solve crimes faster. The recent apprehension of the accused in the violent house dacoity in Malkajgiri within four days offered a glimpse into this evolving policing model, where investigators used “layered digital tracking” and complex data analysis to follow a gang from Nepal across multiple cities before intercepting the accused near Meerut. The case involved a Nepali domestic help who, along with associates, allegedly tied up and sedated an elderly couple at their residence in a gated community in Jawaharnagar before fleeing with gold, silver and cash. Breakthrough Sources familiar with the investigation said the breakthrough came after investigators obtained SDR linked to one of the accused. The data revealed a network of workers from Nepal spread across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune, helping police build the first …

Dhurandhar 2 beats Pushpa 2 to become third-highest-grossing Indian film ever; can it beat Dangal to reach #1 | Analysis

On Saturday, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge crossed an important milestone, reaching ₹1750 crore in gross worldwide. This is significant because it helped the film surpass Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule on India’s all-time highest-grossing films list. Dhurandhar 2 now stands in third place on the elite list, behind only Baahubali: The Conclusion and Dangal. Dhurandhar 2 worldwide box office collection now stands at ₹1750 crore. Dhurandhar 2 beats Pushpa 2 By Sunday, April 19, Dhurandhar 2 had earned ₹1750 crore worldwide gross. This includes ₹1111 crore net in India, the second-highest collection by an Indian film in the domestic market. The film has also collected $46 million overseas, taking it just outside the top 10 of highest-grossing Indian films overseas. The ₹1750-crore gross is enough for the Ranveer Singh-starrer to overtake Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which earned ₹1742 crore gross upon its release in 2024. Unlike Dhurandhar 2, Pushpa 2 did the bulk of its earnings at home, earning a record ₹1234 crore net in India. Its international collections were $32 million. Can Dhurandhar …

I played something like this with Arjun (Erigasi) when I had …

How video analysis helped Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma rediscover form at Chepauk | Cricket News

5 min readUpdated: Feb 27, 2026 10:27 PM IST Abhishek Sharma watched himself slash. The bat swung across the line, the ball flew to third man, the left-hander walked. Next clip: same shot, different match, identical dismissal. Then another. The montage continued of cross-batted slashes accumulating like evidence. Across the team room at Chepauk, Tilak Varma watched his own reel. The 21-year-old who had scored twin centuries in South Africa’s bouncy tracks, waiting, cutting late, playing square, now saw himself swinging early. Rushing into shots. The pre-tournament injury had made him anxious for touch. The anxiety had changed his timing. Hardik Pandya, who came into the World Cup in punishing form, watched himself muscle when timing would have sufficed. Power when a slice would do. Force when finesse was enough. Video analyst Hari Prasad Mohan’s compilation lasted only a few minutes. Inspirational songs threaded through it, yes, but mostly just pictures. Sharma’s slashes. Tilak’s rushed swings. Pandya’s muscled mistimings. What you were a year ago. What you’ve become in this tournament. Head coach Gautam Gambhir …
