Veteran actor Paresh Rawal’s sudden departure from the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3 has sparked a legal face-off with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. The production house reportedly issued a legal notice alleging breach of agreement. However, Rawal’s legal team has now broken its silence, offering a detailed explanation behind his exit. In a statement to the press, Paresh Rawal’s lawyers from Anand & Naik said Rawal’s withdrawal was both legal and justified. He said,  “We have replied to the notice, and Paresh Rawal’s termination is on strong legal footing. They did not deliver the story, screenplay or a draft of a long-form agreement, which was fundamental to the engagement of our client.” The controversy began when Paresh Rawal, along with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and director Priyadarshan reportedly received legal notices from Hera Pheri franchise producer Firoz Nadiadwala.
