At least two people were killed and 17 others were injured after a minibus overturned onto a motorcycle in Madhya Pradesh`s Khargone district on Monday morning, police said, reported the PTI. Among the deceased were a woman and her 16-year-old daughter, it said.  The accident took place on the Khandwa-Baroda National Highway near Magariya village, under the jurisdiction of Jaitapur Police Station, around 11 kilometres from the district headquarters. According to police, the minibus driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid an oncoming car. The vehicle then overturned onto a motorcycle travelling on the highway, the news agency reported. The victims, identified as Monu (40) and her daughter Anita (16), were riding pillion on the motorcycle and died at the scene. The woman`s husband, who was driving the two-wheeler, suffered injuries in the crash.
