We often complain about not getting to watch something new and refreshing. Most of the web series these days are thrillers, crime dramas or maybe, romance. But Anushka Sen’s Dil Dosti Dilemma is not one of those regular shows. Based on Andaleeb Wajid’s young adult novel, Asmara’s Summer, the show revolves around a young girl who is sent to her grandparents’ house as a punishment by her parents over her trip to Canada. However, she decides to hide from her friends that she will not be vacationing in Canada, but will be spending time in Tibbri Road, a much more downscale area in Bengaluru. Besides Anushka Sen, the seven-part series also stars Tanvi Azmi, Shishir Sharma, Kush Jotwani, Akshit Sukhija, Revathi Pillai and Elisha Mayor. What works wonders for Dil Dosti Dilemma is its writing. The show is written very well by Anuradha Tiwari, Bugs Bhargava Krishna, Raghav Dutt and Manjiri Vijay.
