16-year-old Jyoshna Sabar broke the Youth Asian Record in the Women’s 40 kg category with an overall total lift of 135 Kg to clinch three gold medals at the Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships in Qatar on Thursday. Jyoshna also broke two Indian youth national records at the event: Snatch (60 Kg) and Overall Total 135 Kg). However, her best lift of 75 Kg in clean and jerk was 1 Kg short of the C&J national record. Also, Jyoshna touched the World standard lift of 135 Kg in youth 40 Kg and fell 1 kg short of a Total Youth World record.
