A bizarre incident took place during the 3rd ODI between Australia vs South Africa Women’s ODI at the North Sydney Oval in Sydney when Australia’s Alana King hit a six on the leg side and ended up hitting her stumps in the follow-through. However, she was not deemed out as the square-leg umpire signaled it was no-ball for height which added salt to the wounds of Masabata Klaas in 48th over of the innings. King also managed to hit the following ball which was a free hit for another maximum. King coming down the order contributed with a handy 17 helping Australia’s score to get to 277/9 from 50 overs. Middle-order batter Beth Mooney was the top scorer of the innings with 82 runs. Masabata Klaas was also the pick of the bowlers with four wickets for South Africa.
