Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ayodhya on Tuesday to ceremonially hoist a saffron flag on the spire of the Ram temple, symbolising the completion of its construction. Security have been heightened ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit in the city. The day holds special cultural importance because it coincides with Ram Vivah, the traditional celebration of Lord Ram’s wedding in the Hindu calendar. Ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit, the Ram Mandir administration has revised its visitor guidelines, as the temple is expecting increased movement of officials, guests and security personnel. According to an official statement, a total of 6,970 security personnel, including commandos from the ATS, NSG snipers, cyber experts, and technical teams have been deployed.
