After a video of actor Babil Khan crying and calling Bollywood “fake” went viral, his peers — Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal  — have come out in support of the actor. In the clip, Babil had mentioned the names of several celebrities, including Ananya, Siddhant and Raghav, while also expressing that some people in Bollywood were “rude.” However, an official statement released later by his team and family clarified that his words were taken out of context. Although Babil deactivated his Instagram account after the clip went viral, he, however, restored it later in the day and thanked his colleagues for their support. Amid the controversy and debate surrounding the clip, Ananya showed her support for Babil by resharing his Instagram story. Bollywood actor Babil Khan’s family and team have shared a statement after a video of the actor crying went viral on social media. Babil had earlier posted the emotional video on Instagram, in which he referred to Bollywood as ‘fake’. In the same video, he mentioned actors like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and singer Arijit Singh. The statement released on Sunday has clarified his stance, acknowledging that the actor is going through ‘difficult days,’ while reassuring fans that he is ‘safe and will be feeling better soon.’ The statement read: Over the past few years, Babil Khan has earned immense love and appreciation for his work, as well as for his openness about his mental health journey.
