Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Hindi) collected Rs. 101 crore nett approx yesterday, on its fourth day of release. With that, the Ranveer Singh starrer has become the first Hindi film ever to hit the triple-digit benchmark. Earlier, the film also cleared the Rs. 80 crore and Rs. 90 crore benchmarks on Saturday. The Athletics Federation of India has released the official qualification standards for the Commonwealth Games, setting stringent benchmarks across track, field and combined events ahead of the Birmingham successor edition scheduled in 2026. The federation has set entry marks that, in more than 10 events, require athletes to surpass the existing Indian national records to be considered for selection. The decision underlines AFI’s intent to send only medal-capable competitors to the Games and raise India’s overall performance level on the Commonwealth stage. AFI has set these marks based on the 2022 Commonwealth Games, considering the top-4 performances across categories from that edition as the qualifying standard. The standards cover a wide range of disciplines in both men’s and women’s categories. In sprint events, the men’s 100m qualification mark has been fixed at 10.16 seconds, while women will need to clock 11.17 seconds. Mohanlal starrer Thudarum continues to storm the box office. The Malayalam movie has broken many records and kept on doing so even in its 4th week. Starring Mohanlal and Shobhana, the movie has now bagged another massive milestone for a Malayalam movie.  Backed by Rejaputhra Visual Media, the family entertainer wrote history by selling the highest number of tickets via BookMyShow among Malayalam movies. The movie sold around 43.50 lakh (4.35 Million) tickets on BMS and topped the charts.  It crossed the previous record holder, Manjummel Boys, which had registered around 4.30 million admissions on the same ticket-booking platform. Over the weekend, Meta dropped two new Llama 4 models: a smaller model named Scout, and Maverick, a mid-size model that the company claims can beat GPT-4o and Gemini 2.0 Flash “across a broad range of widely reported benchmarks.” Maverick quickly secured the number-two spot on LMArena, the AI benchmark site where humans compare outputs from different systems and vote on the best one. In Meta’s press release, the company highlighted Maverick’s ELO score of 1417, which placed it above OpenAI’s 4o and just under Gemini 2.5 Pro. (A higher ELO score means the model wins more often in the arena when going head-to-head with competitors.) With the latest stable release dated January 28, 2025, Qwen2.5-Max is classified as a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model developed by Alibaba. Like other language models, Qwen2.5-Max is capable of generating text, understanding different languages, and performing advanced logic. According to recent benchmarks, it is also more secure than DeepSeek-V3-0324. Using Recon to scan for vulnerabilities A team of analysts with Protect AI, the company behind a red teaming and security vulnerability scanning tool known as Recon, recently used their platform to compare the security of Qwen2.5-Max against that of DeepSeek-V3. The team’s assessment reads, in part: “We observed that DeepSeek-V3-0324 is more vulnerable than Qwen2.5-Max, with Recon achieving an almost 25% higher attack success rate (ASR).” While it may be more secure than its competition, Qwen2.5-Max isn’t exactly perfect.
