Security agencies launched an investigation after two gelatin sticks were recovered from a roadside near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s event venue on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Sunday, reported the PTI. According to police, the gelatin sticks were discovered during routine security checks near Tataguni in the Kaggalipura police station limits ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to the city. PM Modi was in Bengaluru to attend the 45th foundation day celebrations at the Art of Living Centre on Kanakapura Road near Kaggalipura. Police said the gelatin sticks were found lying near a footpath around three kilometres away from the main venue connected to the Prime Minister’s movement route. “In the morning, before the PM’s arrival, security personnel found two gelatin sticks during checking operations. Further investigation is underway,” police said in a statement, according to the PTI. Security tightened around venue Following the discovery, security was immediately intensified in and around the area.
