One of the trademark features of the Indian Premier League in recent years has been the explosive batting on display. With Sunrisers Hyderabad completing a near-impossible chase of 246 against Shreyas Iyer’s Punjab Kings over the weekend, here’s a look at the highest run chases of all time in India’s premier cricket competition.  Punjab Kings (261 runs): This was a nail-biter played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens on April 26, 2024 which has made its mark in the record books as the highest run chase in IPL history. The battle witnessed several blistering knocks in the first innings including from Phil Salt (75 off 37 balls) and Sunil Narine (71 off 32 balls).
