Bharat Bandh on 12th February 2026 live updates: A nationwide ‘bandh’ has been called by a joint forum of 10 trade unions on Thursday, February 12, to protest against the economic policies of the central government. The ‘bandh’ is expected to be joined by around 30 crore workers, which is likely to disrupt multiple facilities, including banks, transportation, and other services. Addressing the media, All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) General Secretary Amarjeet Kaur said the scale of participation is expected to surpass previous mobilisations. “Not less than 30 crore workers will join the strike on February 12.
