Chhagan Bhujbal inspects Bhidewada National Memorial, seeks completion by end of 2026
Maharashtra Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction of the Bhidewada National Memorial being developed at the historic site where Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule started India’s first school for girls. During the inspection held at around 10 am, Bhujbal reviewed the progress of the ongoing works and took detailed information about the proposed facilities planned as part of the memorial. He directed officials to ensure that the project is completed speedily, with high quality standards and proper workmanship.
