The news was confirmed by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi. “He was not keeping well. We came to know from his family in the morning that he passed away in Ahmedabad. Bhim Vakani himself was a very good painter, actor, and director. He had also worked in the film Lagaan. When his daughter Disha Vakani gained fame as Dayaben, he played a very big role in it. He contributed immensely to shaping Disha’s career. We shared a bond just like family. Whenever he came to Mumbai, he would visit my home and we would spend time together. The Congress has announced the launch of a `Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan` campaign to press for the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah for “insulting” BR Ambedkar, the principal architect of India`s Constitution. Congress leader Pawan Khera said under the campaign, party leaders will organise `Chaupals` in every district and tell people how the BJP-RSS has been insulting Ambedkar and demeaning the Constitution for decades. (File) Gurugram: Gurugram Police has booked gangster Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, for allegedly threatening Bhim Sena chief Satpal Tanwar from abroad, an officer said on Sunday. Anmol is accused of making threatening calls from the US and Canada using numbers from Zimbabwe and Kenya. Police in the wake of the complaint constituted a team from the members of STF and several crime and cyber crime units for investigation. The officer said efforts are being made to bring Anmol Bishnoi to India. According to the complaint, Bhim Sena chief Satpal Tanwar received several calls from Anmol Bishnoi on October 30 with the threat that he would cut him in pieces. In total, the phone calls lasted 6 minutes 41 seconds, and were received by a secretary of Satpal Tanwar. Police booked Anmol Bishnoi under sections of BNS at Sector 37 Police Station on Saturday.
