Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the Fourth King of Bhutan, during his two-day state visit to the Himalayan kingdom- a visit that reaffirmed the enduring strength of the India–Bhutan partnership. The meeting took place amid celebrations of the Fourth King’s 70th birth anniversary and the ongoing Global Peace Prayer Festival in Thimphu. Extending warm greetings on behalf of the Government and people of India, PM Modi wished the Fourth King good health and long life.
