The meeting took place amid celebrations of the Fourth King’s 70th birth anniversary and the ongoing Global Peace Prayer Festival in Thimphu. Extending warm greetings on behalf of the Government and people of India, PM Modi wished the Fourth King good health and long life. He thanked him for his “leadership, counsel, and guidance” in nurturing the close bonds between the two neighbours.
