Nine persons, including two women, were badly injured when two stray dogs went on a biting spree at Nellipaka village of Yetapaka mandal in Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district. While seven persons were bitten by the strays on Tuesday, two were injured in the attack on Wednesday, forcing the irate villages to eliminate the dogs. “Two stray dogs have reportedly attacked nine locals, including a worker from Bhadrachalam in Telangana, in the last 24 hours. Two of the victims are women. One person has been referred to the Bhadrachalam government hospital,” T. Mallikarjuna, duty doctor at Nellipaka Primary Health Centre, told The Hindu.
