Rachin Ravindra’s Fifty Anchors Blackcaps’ Chase Against Bangladesh
Rachin Ravindra slammed his fifth ODI fifty during the side’s Champions Trophy clash against Bangladesh on February 24 at Rawalpindi. He reached the milestone of 50 deliveries which included 5 fours. He also reached his 1000 ODI runs during the match helping the side to recover after early dismissals. Having played 29 ODIs, Rachin has 970 runs at an average of 40.41 with a high score of 123*. New Zealand is in pursuit of chasing 236 runs against Bangladesh where they lost three wickets for 72 runs. After Will Young and Kane Williamson were dismissed cheaply, Ravindra came to bat and forged a dangerous partnership with Devon Conway. They forged a 57 run partnership which helped the side to revive from early dismissals. However Mustafizur found the break through breaking Conway’s partnership with Rachin Ravindra.
