(Image: PTI/File) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, daring him to file a legal case after accusing him of acting as a “Pakistani agent” and claiming that Gogoi’s wife is Pakistani. Speaking to reporters, Sarma said Gogoi was free to approach the courts if he felt aggrieved. “If he thinks I am wrong, he should file a case against me. I am not afraid,” the chief minister said, escalating an already bitter political war of words between the ruling BJP and the Congress in Assam. The chief minister did not stop there.
