Shah Rukh Khan’s already enviable garage just got a new addition. Known for owning some of the most luxurious cars in the industry, the actor has now brought home a Mercedes-Benz V-Class. He is among the early buyers of the MPV in India, alongside Hardik Pandya and his partner Mahieka Sharma. Bookings for the vehicle had opened earlier this month, and it was delivered just ahead of the new month. The car was spotted outside Puja Casa this morning.  The actor opted for a sleek black Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Reports suggest the MPV starts at around Rs 1.4 crore for both petrol and diesel variants, with the final cost depending on the showroom. On the safety front, it comes equipped with features like seven airbags, ISOFIX mounts, traffic sign recognition, driver attention assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360 degree camera setup, and an auto dimming rearview mirror. OpenAI is releasing GPT-5.1 today, an update to the flagship model it released in August. OpenAI calls it an “upgrade” to GPT-5 that “makes ChatGPT smarter and more enjoyable to talk to.” The new models include GPT-5.1 Instant and GPT-5.1 Thinking. The former is “warmer, more intelligent, and better at following your instructions” than its predecessor, per an OpenAI release, and the latter is “now easier to understand and faster on simple tasks, and more persistent on complex ones.” Queries will, in most cases, be auto-matched to the models that may best be able to answer them. The two new models will start rolling out to ChatGPT users this week, and the old GPT-5 models will be available for three months in ChatGPT’s legacy models dropdown menu before they disappear. A newly purchased car was completely destroyed in a fire at Cherkala Pulikund around 5.30 a.m. on Friday (May 23). Fortunately, the five-member family travelling in it escaped unharmed. The incident occurred while the family was driving from Mumbai to Kannapuram. Shortly after reaching Pulikund, smoke began to billow from the bonnet of the vehicle, prompting the passengers to exit immediately before the car caught fire. The Kasaragod Fire and Rescue Services team, led by senior officer V.N. Venugopal, rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. However, by the time the flames were doused, the vehicle was completely gutted. Iqbal Muhammad Kutty, the car owner, said the vehicle was only a month old. His wife, Rubina, and their three children were also in the car at the time. Valuables lost in the fire included ₹25,000 in cash, five sovereigns of gold, identity cards, two mobile phones, clothes, bags, and vehicle documents.
