The Sunrisers Hyderabad has picked left-arm seamer Dilshan Madushanka as a replacement for Brydon Carse for the remainder of the IPL 2026 season. The England pacer Brydon Carse was retained by SRH ahead of the 2026 auction, but got injured while batting in the nets before the tournament opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Sri Lankan pacer has joined the side for INR 75 lakhs and is yet to make his debut in IPL. He has been part of the Mumbai Indians in the 2024 season, but was ruled out of the season due to injury. Madushanka has played one test, 28 ODIs and 19 T20Is, picking 70 wickets in total.
