CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board exams are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. As students make last minute preparations it’s time to know important exam day instructions for a pleasant experience without any hassles. CBSE released a list permitting the following items in the exam centre. List of items not allowed in the exam centre Textual material, printed or written bits of papers and calculator. Communication devices such as mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, smart watch, camera, and others are not allowed inside exam hall. CBSE result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in an official statement on its website revealed that the results of Class 10 and 12 will be declared on the same day. Another important disclosure was that the results would be released after May 20. The board is yet to confirm the exact date and time for the Class 10 and 12 results. This year, the CBSE conducted these exams between February and April. The Class 10 board exams commenced on February 15 and concluded on March 13. The board administered Class 12 exams between February 15 and April 2. These exams were held in single shifts spanning two to three-hours depending on the subject. Candidates appearing for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 or Class 12 Board Exam 2025 can download the syllabus for each subject by visiting the curriculum section at the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in. CBSE new rules propose 3 languages, 7 other subjects in Class 10; 6 papers in Class 12: Report

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently proposed significant changes to the academic framework for Class 10 and Class 12, reported Indian Express. According to the report, the CBSE suggested a transition from studying two languages to three in Class 10, which will include mandating at least two of these languages must be native to India. Apart from this, in the passing criteria for Class 10 students, the CBSE proposed increasing the requirement from passing in five subjects to 10. For Class 12 too, the CBSE suggested inclusion of students studying two languages instead of one, with the prerequisite that at least one must be a native Indian language. The students will need to pass examinations in six subjects rather than five. The report added that CBSE’s proposed changes are integral to its larger effort to introduce a national credit framework in school education.
