The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the second phase of Class 10 board exams, giving students another chance to improve their scores. This year, CBSE has introduced a new system where Class 10 board exams can be held twice annually. However, the second phase is optional and meant for students who want to improve their performance. The board stated that this system allows students to “appear for examinations twice in the same academic year,” giving them flexibility to improve marks if needed, reported IANS. Exams to be held from May 15 to May 21 According to the official schedule, the exams will be conducted from May 15 to May 21. Most papers will take place from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, while a few will end earlier at 12:30 pm. The exams will begin with Mathematics (Standard and Basic) on May 15, followed by English on May 16. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the 2026 Second Board Exams for Class 10. The second round of board examinations are scheduled to commence on Friday, 15 May, and conclude on Thursday, 21 May 2026. The Class 10 exams will start with Maths exam and end with Social Science exam. CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the date sheet for Class 10 and 12 exams soon. Earlier, it was reported that the date sheet would be released on Saturday. Reports have now stated that the date sheet could be out anytime soon now. Generally, CBSE releases the date sheets or time tables of the classes around one to one-and-a-half months before the exams. Once the Class 10, 12 date sheet is out, students can download the time table from the official website of the CBSE i.e. cbse.gov.in. Earlier, in July, it was announced that the time table for academic year 2023-24, will begin on 15 February 2024, and will conclude on 10 April.
