The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Saturday released the final result of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). The result was announced by BPSC chairman Ravi Manubhai Parmar in a press conference. 20,034 candidates appeared for the BPSC CCE examination. BPSC 70th CCE Prelims Re-exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission re-examined on January 4 with 5943 candidates appearing for the CCE Prelims 2024. BPSC 70th CCE 2024: Tensions escalated outside the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) office as Patna police resorted to a lathi charge on candidates protesting ahead of the 70th CCE Preliminary exams 2024. According to senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rajeev Mishra, a large number of aspirants gathered near the BPSC office on Bailey Road around noon, attempting to march towards the office. BPSC confirms 70th CCE Prelims 2024 exam date; asks candidates to avoid fake reports | Jobs News

Amid the misleading reports on the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims date change, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has once again confirmed the exam date for the students. In the latest notification, the Commission has notified that the date of the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims has not been changed and will be conducted on December 13. It also mentioned that any updates and changes in the exam date will be updated on the official website of the Commission, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates are also advised to avoid fake and misleading reports on social media handles. The BPCS CCE prelims are set to be held on December 13 and 14. The exam in 2024 will have two stages – a preliminary examination followed by a main examination. The preliminary exam will be two hours long and will include objective questions totaling 150 marks. Negative markings will be applied for incorrect answers. Only those who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible to take the BPSC CCE main exam.
