A sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Project Orion, is in the works at CD Projekt Red. CD Projekt Red has been working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, which was first announced in 2022. The Polish company set up a new studio in Boston, Massachusetts, at the time to spearhead development on the action-RPG alongside its existing Vancouver-based team. The fourth Witcher game, codenamed Project Polaris, is set to enter production soon, developer CD Projekt Red confirmed Wednesday. In a statement detailing its earnings in the first half of the financial year, the studio said it was about to conclude pre-production on the title. The Witcher 4 was first announced by CD Projekt Red in 2022 and later confirmed to be the first in a new trilogy of The Witcher games. Cyberpunk 2077 to Be Available for Free as Part of Limited Trial on Current-Gen Consoles This Weekend

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available to play at no cost as part of a limited trial over the coming weekend, according to developer CD Projekt Red. The popular game will be free to play for a few hours on current generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony, but not for PC gamers. You will have access to the base Cyberpunk 2077 game — which will need to be downloaded in its entirety in order to access the trial. The Phantom Liberty expansion won’t be part of the trial this weekend. According to details on the Cyberpunk 2077 website, the free trial will begin on March 28 at 4pm CET (8pm IST) and end on April 1 at 8:59AM CEST (12:29pm IST). You will be able to play the game on current-gen consoles — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S — for five hours, during the trial period. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a next-gen update on December 14, and publisher CD Projekt Red has detailed all the enhancements coming with the update. Revealed during a REDstreams live stream, held late Wednesday, a group of developers outlined the improved visuals with ray tracing, faster load times on console, a photo mode, and the new Netflix DLC based on Netflix’s Henry Cavill-led The Witcher series. The update will be available as a free download to those who already own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
