Pakistan summons U.S. Chargé d’Affaires over Sergio Gor’s remarks on J&K

In Srinagar, Mr. Gor told reporters that Jammu and Kashmir is an “important part of India” and an incredibly beautiful place. Mr. Gor, who took a ‘shikara’ ride at the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar, also said that the U.S. will reconsider the advisories on travel to J&K as the central government and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have taken steps to make it a safer place.
