Tridha Choudhury reveals why she won`t do Hollywood projects

Actress Tridha Choudhury recently opened up about the careful choices she has made while navigating opportunities across industries. In an exclusive interview with IANS, she explained that she was aware that doing nude scenes in a Hollywood project could have limited her future opportunities, especially in Bollywood and other industries. Tridha said she knew such a choice might have led to her being typecast or blocked from many other projects. The actress shared that since she has already explored the international space, she believes there are other ways to work globally without compromising her long-term career. Tridha Choudhury stated, “If I would have done one project in Hollywood, where I would have done nude scenes, it would have blocked a lot of my other projects. I knew that. So, I feel that if I have already tapped into the Hollywood space, I can still go ahead with a different approach. But for one project, I wouldn`t risk the rest of my journey in Bollywood or somewhere else.” On the work front, Tridha Choudhury made her …

With former Leicester City player Hamza Choudhury in action, all eyes not on Sunil Chhetri

“You can’t compare Sunil Chhetri to Hamza. Sunil has done great things for India, but let’s be honest, Hamza is a Premier League player.” From the time it was announced that India would be grouped with Bangladesh in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the buzz has largely revolved around one name – Hamza Choudhury. The 27-year-old, a Leicester City academy product who played over 90 games for the former Premier League champions and is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, was born to a Grenadian father and a Bangladeshi mother and decided to take up a Bangladesh passport in 2024. Story continues below this ad Usually, an India-Bangladesh football match is seen as a David-vs-Goliath contest (FIFA rankings: India 126, Bangladesh 185). But in reality, there isn’t much to choose between both teams on the pitch, even though India provides a better (still nowhere good) domestic environment to its players. The inability to improve a poor domestic system has led to consistent calls for players of Indian origin (PIOs) to be allowed …

India notched a commanding win over lower-ranked Maldives here on March 19, which marked the first win under the charge of Manolo Marquez. The win was also significant as the talismanic Sunil Chhetri led the team with a superb goal in his international return, his 95th in India Jersey. Bangladesh have been familiar but tricky rivals for India and historically it has not been easy outings whenever the two sides faced each other. India though are currently ranked much higher in the FIFA chart — 126th as against 185th on Bangladesh. The last match between the two sides had ended in a 1-1 draw in the 2021 SAFF Championships in Maldives with Chhetri scoring India’s goal. Chhetri had also scored India’s both goals in the 2-0 win over their eastern neighbours in a 2022 …
