In Delhi, the price now stands at ₹3,071.50, up from ₹2,078.50 earlier. This is the steepest single increase so far. The latest revision follows earlier hikes of ₹195.50 per cylinder on April 1 and ₹114.50 on March 1. With this, prices have risen by a total of ₹1,303 over three months. Thousands of passengers stranded, over 250 flights hit, and a chaotic situation at several airports of the country as IndiGo is grappled with significant operational disruptions. As per the reports, over 250 flights were cancelled on Thursday. Of these, 191 are from three major airports — Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. As per the official statement from the airlines, the disruption is due to updated crew rostering rules (Flight Duty Time Limitations). IndiGo, which operates around 2,300 domestic and international flights daily, on Wednesday said a “multitude of unforeseen operational challenges” have significantly disrupted its operations across the network for the past two days, and apologised to the passengers for the inconvenience.
