Two days after Vadodara Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator from Ward 15, Ashish Joshi, got into an argument with Municipal Commissioner Dilip Rana during the General Board meeting of the civic body over the cleaning of stormwater drains in his ward, the city unit of the party Wednesday issued a show-cause notice to Joshi to “explain repeated indiscipline”. Joshi has been given three days to reply to the show-cause notice for “repeated incidents of indiscipline”, the party said in a statement. On Monday, Joshi and Rana had engaged in a heated exchange after Joshi took an aggressive stand over the issue of cleaning a stormwater drain in his Ward 15 in Kaladarshan area.
