Over 3.3 lakh students are awaiting results for the exams, which were conducted from April 22 to 24, beginning with the Kannada language paper on April 22, followed by Physics and Chemistry on April 23, and concluding with Mathematics and Biology on April 24. On May 19, the KEA requested that students who have completed Class 12 from CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards upload their marks on the KEA portal for the result processing. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced several facilities on Sunday to address the queries and doubts of students following the controversy over the Class 12 results and the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system used for evaluation this year. “The Class 12 results recently declared by the CBSE were marked using an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system this time. Following this, certain concerns have been raised—specifically, students feel that the overall pass percentage has declined.
