Designer Manish Malhotra said that Nita Ambani and her daughter, Isha, were at the forefront of conceptualising Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last year, which he executed. He said that the multi-day event presented India and Indian fashion in an entirely new light to the world, and brought a certain ‘elevated credibility’ to Bollywood style. Manish said that every tiny detail was pondered-over, and revealed that several companies from around the world were involved in putting the festivities together. Anant and Radhika had a lavish wedding in Mumbai, but in the months leading up to it, they hosted several pre-wedding parties in India and abroad.
